Acceptance of Terms
The following Terms of Service (“TOS”) are between you and the Service provider; Syneroid Technologies Corp. (“Syneroid”), DBA “Get Pet Connected”, “GPC Smart”, and “Global-ID America” and constitutes a legal agreement that governs the use of the Syneroid Technologies products, software, services, databases and websites (collectively referred to as the “Service”).
Services
Use of the Service may require one or more compatible devices or personal computers, certain software, cellular services, and/or broadband Internet access.
Syneroid reserves the right to modify the Service (or any part thereof), either temporarily or permanently, at any time or from time to time. You agree that Syneroid shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any modifications of the Service.
Updates
Syneroid may update or change the App, website, or other services and these TOS from time to time and recommends that you review the TOS on a regular basis. You understand and agree that your continued use of the Services after any App, website, services and/or TOS has changed constitutes your acceptance of the services and TOS as revised.
Limitations of Use
You agree to use the Service only for the intended purposes and within any and all applicable laws, regulations, or generally accepted practices in the applicable jurisdiction. You agree to only upload relevant information related to the recovery of a lost or unaccompanied animal, and nothing else. Syneroid reserves the absolute right to determine what information is relevant, and retains the right to remove any photographs or information that Syneroid finds inappropriate or offensive.
Sign Up Obligations
You agree that all photographs and information you provide to Syneroid during the sign-up process (“Sign-Up Data”) is of a pet you legally own, that all information will be true, accurate, complete and current information, and that you shall maintain and update the Sign-Up Data as needed throughout your term to keep it accurate and current. Failure to provide accurate, current and complete Sign-Up Data may result in the suspension and/or termination of your account.
Privacy
Syneroid hereby agrees to follow generally accepted standards to protect personal information submitted to us, both during transmutation and once we receive it. Nevertheless, the user acknowledges and agrees that no method of transmission or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, Syneroid cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
You understand that by using the Service, you consent and agree to the collection and use of certain information about you and your pet. Information collected by Syneroid (or other third-parties) may also include location, technical, or diagnostic information related to your use that may be used by Syneroid or third-parties to maintain, improve and enhance the Service.
Standard use of the Service may include the display or distribution of certain personal information, photographs and contact information provided by you, and approved by you, for use in the pet’s “Public Pet Profile” page. In order to help reunite lost pets with their owners, these identification photographs, and other information contained in the Public Pet Profile page, are displayed to anyone with a smartphone that taps (using NFC) or scans (using the QR Code, or RFDI microchip) the animal identification products associated with the Service.
Links
Certain content, components or features of the Service may include materials from third-parties and/or hyperlinks to other websites, resources, or content. Because Syneroid may have no control over such third-party sites, services and/or materials, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Syneroid is not responsible for the availability of such sites, services or resources, and that Syneroid does not endorse or warrant the accuracy of any such sites, services or resources, and shall in no way be liable or responsible for any content, advertising, products or materials on or available from such sites or resources.
Availability of Service
The Service, or any feature or part thereof, may not be available in all languages or in all countries, and Syneroid makes no representation that the Service, or any feature or part thereof, is appropriate or available for use in any particular location. To the extent you choose to access and use the Service, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with any applicable laws, including, but not limited to, any applicable local laws, customs or regulations.
Clicking the acceptance box indicates your acknowledgment and agreement to the following Terms:
- That you agree to all the Terms of Service;
- That the user is at least 18-years old, and/or legally able to enter into this binding contract;
- That the pet’s owner is hereby authorizing the public release of the information and photographs contained and approved (by you) for use in the individual pet’s “PUBLIC PET PROFILE” page
- By checking the box, I am also hereby authorizing (in the event I cannot be reached) that my pet be released into the custody of the alternate contact person(s) identified in my pet registration pages, or, if all else fails, released into the custody of my pet’s Veterinarian. I hereby agree to pay the Veterinarian for any emergency services provided, and for any and all boarding and fees incurred or accrued.
